About us
Our mission
We want our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents to be able to enjoy their freedom independently while staying at home as long as possible. We want them to be able to look after their health with the best possible care. DOMOSafety takes care of the elderly and the people around them.
We focus on those around the elderly person, and on protecting their private sphere. Our goal is to improve the quality of information received by family and health professionals to guarantee proper care, whether in the event of an urgent incident or for preventive care. Information is only shared in the event of an incident to protect privacy: under normal circumstances information is never shared.
Our history
In 2011, Guillaume DuPasquier and his co-founders had the idea of providing services to improve the quality of life amongst the elderly and those around them, after experiencing difficult personal experiences with their loved ones. Between 2012 and 2014, a number of pilots and feasibility studies were carried out in Europe which were approved by healthcare networks, hospitals, ethics committees and families. Since 2015, DOMOSafety has been marketing its services through its network of partners in Europe.
Since these beginnings, DOMOSafety has listened to the elderly, families, doctors and nurses to provide them with the information they need to take care of themselves and their relatives. We have demonstrated the benefit of our services through multiple collaborations with care networks and families in several European countries. We are part of theEuropean Commission AAL Programme, which recognises DOMOSafety as an expert in care at home.

I already had an alarm button before switching to the DOMO solution with the additional under the mattress sensor. I find it really reassuring, because if I go to the bathroom at night and stay there too long, it will be detected and the emergency services can be notified.
My mum had never needed to use the alarm until the night when she was unwell and had to be hospitalised urgently. I received an alert from the DOMO system very quickly. I find the service really reliable.
When my mum was sitting in bed with her blood pressure much too high and her head spinning, the call service contacted me immediately. I could both hear and communicate with the woman and my mum, which was very reassuring. Then I was able to go straight to her house to help her.
The tool is smart and modern; it brings comfort to the person using it and allows them to stay at home longer. Because the system installation is quite discreet, it doesn’t interfere with their daily life. The solution makes it possible for the family to take action fast for the person’s well-being, and all at a competitive price.
After my mother was hospitalised, the question came up as to whether she could stay at home or if she should move to a medical care home, mainly because I live 2 hours away from her by car. This is how we came to choose DOMO. After an easy installation and getting used to it, we’re really pleased with how everything is going.
DOMO is a relief for all of us. Once when my mum didn't answer the phone, we were all worried. Now we know she’s in good hands. I sometimes check her activity in the system so I know that she’s getting on with her day-to-day life and feeling well.
