Mr. David Sikorsky is a Venture Partner and Partner at JAL Ventures Ltd. Mr. Sikorsky served as the Chief Operating Officer at New Access SA since 2003. He was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at New Access, Private Banking Software for 13 years. He was a Investment strategist at an HSBC Private Bank unit. Mr. Sikorsky served as Equity Analyst at Morgan Stanley, Research Division. He was Institutional Research associate at Morgan Stanley covering Technical Software stocks. He worked for several years as a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley. He participated in US equity stock selection at CCF Private Bank. In 2001, he joined Quest Partners, specialized in private equity, where he managed merging and acquisition, and PE projects and followed several ventures and start-up operations. Mr. Sikorsky is an active VC investor in technology sector. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of New Access SA. Mr. Sikorsky holds a BA in Economics and French Literature from Brown University in Rhode Island.
Dr. Martin Meili
Martin was born 1952 in Zurich, where I passed my primary and high school years. After his medical studies at Zurich University, he spent a year in Brazil with an internship in primary care in poor neighborhoods. Back in Switzerland I was trained to become a general practitioner including a special focus on geriatric medicine. Since 1989 he is part of a medical practice with a group of colleagues in Zurich-Schwamendingen. In his professional routine he has made a lot of contact with older patients, as well as with geriatric institutions (home care/Spitex, nursing homes). Since 2002 he is the chairman of WohnSch, a non-profit association running 3 small nursing homes. (www.verein-wohnsch.ch).
Guillaume holds an eMBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from EPFL/HEC Lausanne (MoT) and a master in Communications Systems from EPFL. He has a track record in fund raising, intellectual property, business development and algorithmic. He acquired technical expertise in signal processing, cryptography at NEC in Japan and Tejas Networks in Bangalore and then at Kudelski and Fastcom Technologies. He co-founded a first Startup in the domain of biometry, as CTO leading to a successful license agreement with Fujitsu.
Mr Serge Grisard has founded and managed 3 start-ups in the Healthcare monitoring field in the last 13 years in the UK and in Switzerland. The first one, Toumaz, in Oxford, was IPO’ed on the London stock exchange. He sold his shares in the second one, MyAmego Healthcare, in Cambridge, when founding the third one, Vigisense in Geneva. He is currently CEO of Vigisense, a start-up providing care monitoring equipment and software to care homes, clinics and hospitals. He is also Vice-Chairman of Vaxeal Holding, a biotech start-up in Vevey. Before, Serge was at KPMG Corporate Finance, London, as the Head of the European Medical Technology practice. An MSc in Aerospace Engineering by background with an MBA from the IMD, he has worked in R&D with NASA in Houston, USA, and managed a global business unit at PFIZER Hospital Products in London where he lived for 5 years.
